Virtual Care Veterinary Technician – Teletriage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interact with members through chat, phone, and video, delivering support and education regarding pets’ health and well-being.

• Assess cases utilizing veterinary expertise, provide recommendations, and ensure the accuracy of information.

• Analyze medical records to comprehend patient history and offer well-informed guidance.

• Record information clearly and accurately in patient files using veterinary terminology.

• Confirm and process prescriptions while ensuring appropriate follow-up for client inquiries.

• Provide compassionate client care through chat, phone, and video interactions.

• Adhere to protocols while customizing approaches for each individual case.

• Work collaboratively across departments and contribute feedback to enhance processes and systems.

• Assist teams in Virtual Care, Clinic Success, Telemedicine, and Member Success as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully passed the VTNE.

• Minimum of two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine.

• Experience in emergency and specialty care is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Comfortable using multiple computer applications and online platforms.

• Capable of clearly communicating medical information both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while generating innovative solutions.

• Skilled in managing priorities and tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Possess a curiosity-driven mindset and a desire for professional growth.

• Have a quiet, distraction-free workspace.

• Minimum internet requirements: >100mb download, >100mb upload, <10ms latency.

• Comfortable sitting and standing at a computer for long periods.
