This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct virtual consultations with pet owners through video calls and asynchronous messaging.
• Review the medical history, symptoms, and treatment concerns presented via Dutch’s digital platform.
• Establish a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) when necessary and assess the appropriateness of telemedicine for each case.
• Offer evidence-based treatment recommendations, including prescriptions when clinically justified.
• Communicate with clarity, empathy, and care in every interaction.
• Thoroughly document all encounters using Dutch’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with Dutch’s clinical leadership team as required.
• Graduated from a veterinary school accredited by the AVMA or fulfilled the necessary requirements to practice in the United States.
• Possess an active U.S. veterinary license in one or more states where Dutch operates.*
• Maintain a license in good standing, free from any malpractice or disciplinary actions.
• Have over 3 years of clinical experience post-graduation.
• Ensure a quiet, professional environment and reliable internet connection for video consultations.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Approach care with a collaborative and compassionate mindset.
• Be comfortable using telehealth tools and manage consultations independently.
