Virtual Care Referral Coordinator – Temp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Coordinate both internal and external referral orders, encompassing specialty and imaging referrals.

• Schedule appointments and confirm insurance coverage.

• Request medical records and results, ensuring all necessary documentation is ready before appointments.

• Relay updates to providers and members through telephone and messaging systems.

• Assist patients with directions, facility locations, and direct dial numbers.

• Oversee electronic medical records and the handling of records requests.

• Support providers with patient documentation, including Medical Opinion and SSI Disability forms.

• Collaborate with providers, care teams, patient support, compliance, and other staff members.

• Route referrals, imaging orders, prior authorizations, and other requests to the appropriate external providers.

• Manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
