Virtual Care Intensivist – Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough care to critically ill and/or medically intricate intensive care unit patients through telemedicine.

• Operate autonomously and in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.

• Serve across various sites/locations.

• Utilize multiple EHR/EMR systems.

• Work during night shifts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a board certification and be licensed as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

• A minimum of two (2) years experience in a critical care environment as an Advanced Practice Provider; five (5) years is preferred.

• Strong understanding of critical care medicine, including fluid resuscitation, vasopressors, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient computer skills and adept at navigating various electronic medical records.

• Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
