Virtual Auto Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate initial vehicle damage estimates as a member of the NEST team

• Analyze vehicle damage photographs

• Deliver high-quality initial estimates in a dynamic, high-output environment

• Collaborate with body shops and clients

• Utilize knowledge of regulatory compliance and equitable claims practices

• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers

• Create estimates for both first- and third-party material damage claims

• Comprehend the details of all policy types issued by the organization

• Negotiate settlements

• Process settlement payments

• Record all actions in claim files within the limits of escalated authority

• No supervisory responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in automotive technical estimating

• Strong grasp of vehicle repair processes

• Self-assuredness in negotiating with repair shops

• Familiarity with CCC and Microsoft software

• Candidates based in the Central Time Zone are strongly preferred

• Active insurance license is highly preferred

• Previous experience in the auto insurance sector is strongly desired

• Must have authorization to work in the United States

• Holders of an active insurance license must terminate all current appointments prior to onboarding and may not maintain outside appointments during employment

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team

• A dedicated, private home workspace free of distractions

• Stable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
