This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Act as the main point of contact for guests prior to, during, and following their stay, ensuring timely and professional communication through various channels.
• Handle guest requests such as early check-ins, special accommodations, access support, and inquiries related to the property.
• Address guest complaints, urgent matters, and after-hours support with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance teams, local hosts, and on-site hotel staff to resolve operational and guest-related issues.
• Monitor and engage with guest reviews on platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Google Reviews, and others.
• Manage reservations, calendar availability, and rate synchronization utilizing Guesty and Uplisting.
• Oversee listings and inventory across Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and direct booking channels.
• Accurately process cancellations, booking modifications, no-shows, and rebooking requests while following company guidelines.
• Prevent overbookings and efficiently allocate rooms and apartments across the portfolio.
• Professionally and effectively handle OTA disputes, guest claims, and chargeback situations.
• Assist in pricing optimization and occupancy management through revenue and dynamic pricing tools.
• Ensure seamless guest check-ins, turnovers, and daily operational processes across all properties.
• Keep accurate records of guest information, reports, reservation documentation, and administrative systems.
• Enhance and maintain SOPs, operational processes, and automated guest messaging workflows.
• Contribute to operational improvements and system optimization efforts to boost efficiency and enhance the guest experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, guest relations, or booking management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing hotels/B&Bs as well as short-term rental properties.
• Advanced practical experience with Guesty and Uplisting.
• Strong knowledge of OTAs including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia Group.
• Experience in handling OTA disputes, cancellations, and processes for guest resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing multiple properties.
• Comfortable working fully remote while adhering to UK business hours.
• Experience with hotel channel managers such as SiteMinder.
• Familiarity with dynamic pricing tools like PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing.
• Experience with hospitality automation tools and optimizing workflows.
• Background in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, or premium guest services.
