This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Deliver asynchronous text-based and synchronous video-based healthcare to adult patients throughout the U.S.
• Engage in comprehensive general medicine addressing a broad spectrum of acuity and clinical complexity — this encompasses full-scope primary care rather than protocol-driven triage.
• Conduct clinical triage and synthesis for patients presenting with unclear or evolving issues, utilizing strong diagnostic reasoning to determine subsequent steps.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests and imaging studies, while facilitating swift specialist consultations to ensure timely, evidence-based care.
• Advise and assist patients in navigating appropriate in-person care when necessary (operations teams manage provider identification, booking, and scheduling).
• Support patients in identifying and coordinating the next clinically relevant actions — addressing more than just the immediate concern.
• Uphold clinical ownership and continuity throughout the decision-making process.
• Participate in the development of clinical workflows, policies, and quality improvement initiatives as relevant.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with experience in Family Medicine.
• At least 6,240 hours of clinical practice (approximately 3 years of full-time experience).
• Proven primary care experience in an outpatient or ambulatory environment; clinicians with substantial expertise in adult medicine covering preventive, acute, and chronic care.
• Active, unrestricted NP licensure valid for at least 30% of the U.S. population.
• Multistate licensure is highly preferred; priority states include California, Texas, Florida, and New York.
• Must be authorized to work and physically located within the United States; this position is not open to candidates residing outside the U.S.
• Eligibility to treat Medicare and Medicaid patients.
• Strong proficiency in clinical triage, managing diagnostic ambiguity, and comprehensive clinical synthesis.
• Experience in independent practice within scope, along with close collaboration with physicians and specialists.
• Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new clinical tools and workflows.
• Comfortable working in a virtual-first setting (previous telehealth experience is advantageous but not mandatory).
• A clean professional record, with no history of malpractice.
• Outstanding clinical support and technology that provide comprehensive patient context and alleviate administrative burdens.
