Video Teleconferencing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, troubleshooting, and transition services for video teleconferencing and multimedia technologies throughout the ICE enterprise.

• Create and engineer technical solutions that integrate suitable hosting environments while adhering to ICE and DHS standards.

• Assess new technologies for compatibility with ICE enterprise architecture and the ICE OCIO Service Lifecycle Management process.

• Diagnose video teleconferencing and multimedia systems from start to finish.

• Design, implement, configure, and support Unified Endpoint Mobility solutions across various environments.

• Analyze, evaluate, test, and provide support for emerging video, multimedia, networking, and infrastructure technologies.

• Develop and standardize procedures for installation, configuration, training, and quality assurance.

• Collect requirements and design, engineer, and deploy endpoint firewalls and IDS/IPS.

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and program teams on technology implementation and production transition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with no experience, Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience, or High School diploma/equivalent with 4 years of experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DHS Public Trust.

• Experience in troubleshooting video teleconferencing, multimedia, or similar audiovisual technologies.

• Experience in designing, implementing, configuring, or supporting endpoint firewalls and IDS/IPS.

• Preferred: experience in supporting VTC and multimedia technologies within a large enterprise setting.

• Preferred: experience in DHS, ICE, or other federal government settings.

• Preferred: experience with high availability architectures and enterprise infrastructure solutions.

• Preferred: understanding of federal security, architecture, and infrastructure standards.
