This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of video production projects from start to finish, managing the scope, budget, and timeline from initial brief to final delivery.
• Lead the pre-production phase, including tasks such as casting, location scouting, crew coordination, obtaining permits, and logistics management.
• Supervise the versioning and resizing of high-volume assets across various formats and channels.
• Conduct compliance reviews on creative assets, identifying any claims or content that necessitate legal approval.
• Collaborate with editors, motion designers, and post-production vendors to ensure timely delivery of final assets.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders from project kickoff to completion.
• Oversee external production vendors, freelancers, and agencies, determining when to outsource tasks or handle them in-house.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts and statements of work for vendors, freelancers, and agencies.
• Identify and evaluate potential new production partners, agencies, and freelancers.
• Monitor talent usage rights and licensing agreements while managing renewals.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from quick-turn social media content to larger brand and product videos.
• Discover opportunities to enhance production efficiency and speed.
• Support creative operations by maintaining project boards, corresponding with stakeholders, managing compliance workflows, and removing obstacles.
• 8+ years of experience in video production, overseeing shoots and projects from inception to delivery.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing vendor/production contracts, statements of work, and talent usage agreements.
• Established network of production partners, agencies, and freelancers.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and act swiftly without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with production and post-production processes, including casting, location management, crew coordination, and common editing and motion design tools.
• Strong communication skills for briefing directors, reassuring stakeholders, and providing clear feedback to editors.
• A collaborative mindset and a keen interest in understanding what drives video performance.
• Experience with AI tools and creating AI workflows that lead to measurable production efficiencies.
• An operations- and process-oriented approach, with the ability to transition between creative operations and video production.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $105,000 to $185,000 annually.
