Video Editor – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit raw video footage utilizing Camtasia to produce refined instructional materials for academic courses, encompassing lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and supplementary resources.

• Collaborate with instructional designers to comprehend course objectives and guarantee that edited videos align with course requirements.

• Review and revise videos for quality, clarity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to NPRC's branding guidelines and accessibility standards.

• Organize files, manage version control, and export videos in various formats compatible with D2L.

• Conduct basic audio editing to achieve clear narration and eliminate background noise.

• Adhere to project deadlines and deliver progress updates to the academic team.

• Assist with accessibility requirements in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience with Camtasia software (or comparable video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, with a willingness to adapt to Camtasia).

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently within a part-time, flexible schedule.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in video editing, ideally in an educational or instructional environment.

• Solid understanding of video production principles, including pacing, visual storytelling, and multimedia integration.

• Proficiency in basic audio editing and graphic elements.

• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools.
