Video Editor – LinkedIn Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Edit concise LinkedIn videos, typically ranging from 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

• Transform raw footage into captivating, polished social media content.

• Incorporate captions, callouts, zooms, screenshots, charts, and basic motion graphics.

• Apply clean and consistent color grading to achieve a refined appearance.

• Enhance audio quality through fundamental sound design and leveling.

• Present business and data-centric subjects in a clear and visually appealing manner.

• Develop compelling openings that engage viewers within the first few seconds.

• Convert longer recordings into concise clips.

• Uphold a clean, premium, data-oriented brand aesthetic.

• Effectively communicate with a U.S.-based team and respond positively to feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional video editing experience.

• A strong portfolio showcasing social media videos.

• Exceptional understanding of pacing, storytelling, captions, and visual hierarchy.

• Proven experience in editing talking-head, educational, or business-oriented content.

• Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar software.

• Good command of written English.

• Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Experience in B2B, SaaS, marketing, design, or tech content is a plus.

• Skills in motion graphics or After Effects are desirable.

• Familiarity with editing styles for LinkedIn and YouTube is a bonus.

• An interest in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX), or digital marketing is advantageous.
