This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos, including reels, social media advertisements, promotional content, and informative explainers.

• Utilize engaging hooks, dynamic pacing, and compelling narrative structures to enhance viewer retention.

• Adapt editing styles to meet platform-specific preferences, such as quick cuts for Instagram and attention-grabbing openings for YouTube Shorts.

• Improve video quality through techniques like color grading, text animations, transitions, and sound design.

• Work collaboratively with writers, designers, and creative leads to translate scripts and visual ideas into reality.

• Keep abreast of editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio developments.

• Evaluate ad performance metrics and implement insights to boost click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in Kannada, ensuring linguistic precision, cultural relevance, and impactful storytelling tailored for the target audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.

• A strong portfolio showcasing short-form content, including reels, advertisements, and promotional videos.

• Solid understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement strategies.

• Strong storytelling abilities, visual creativity, and skills in sound design.

• Proficiency in both Kannada and English languages.

• Capability to edit in Kannada while maintaining cultural sensitivity and linguistic competence.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
