Video Editor – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Transform raw footage, concepts, podcasts, interviews, and business materials into captivating, high-quality videos that grab attention.

• Leverage AI-driven workflows and cutting-edge content creation tools.

• Develop short-form videos tailored for social media, focusing on impactful hooks, captions, pacing, and narrative techniques.

• Produce content for Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, B-roll, sound design, and visual effects.

• Deliver refined, platform-ready content autonomously while adhering to deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, or a related discipline.

• Strong expertise in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or comparable editing software.

• Practical experience with AI-enhanced video and content creation tools.

• In-depth knowledge of short-form content, including hooks, pacing, audience retention, and storytelling techniques.

• Proven ability to craft engaging Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and YouTube content.

• Solid understanding of motion graphics, transitions, captions, B-roll, sound design, and visual effects.

• Proficient in working with raw footage and transforming it into polished, platform-ready content.

• Creative mindset with a willingness to explore new AI tools and emerging content trends.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to meet project deadlines.

• Ability to work independently in a remote freelance setting.

• A strong portfolio or showreel is essential.

• Excellent communication skills and a keen ability to interpret creative briefs.
