Short-Form Video Editor – Social, Hype Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit trailers, previews, teasers, drop announcements, and hype videos from episode masters and raw gameplay footage.

• Craft platform-specific on-screen text and captions in an authentic voice suitable for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

• Produce quick-turnaround social media cutdowns, including clips ranging from 5 to 15 seconds, quick trims, and engaging teasers.

• Enhance content strategies for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snap, and X.

• Organize files according to taxonomy, tag and archive assets, and provide clear production notes upon delivery.

• Assist with narrative gaming cuts or brand edits during peak pod workloads.

• Track content metrics and proactively recommend new hype formats based on performance insights.

• Deliver fully packaged assets that are ready for publication.

• Balance quick trims with detailed trailer edits while ensuring high quality.

• Collaborate within a fast-paced creative environment.

• Report directly to the Directors of Editorial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating promotional material that generates excitement for a series, drop, launch, or creator event.

• Deep understanding of TikTok, Shorts, and Reels algorithms and trends.

• Ability to write concise, contextually relevant on-screen text and captions in English.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• Exceptional written communication skills in English.

• Must possess a machine capable of 4K multicam editing: Apple Silicon M2+ or a PC with a dedicated GPU and at least 16GB RAM.

• Dual displays required, with a minimum of one display at 1440p resolution.

• Fiber internet with a minimum upload speed of 25Mbps and a backup line.

• UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is necessary.

• Professional mixing headphones or monitors are required.

• Familiarity with gaming culture (Roblox, Fortnite, GTA, Minecraft) is a plus.

• Motion graphics skills in After Effects are advantageous.

• Experience using AI tools for transcription, captioning, and selecting content is desirable.

• Basic graphic design skills in Photoshop or Figma are a bonus.

• Must currently reside in the Philippines and be legally authorized to work there.
