Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Transform raw video footage into refined and professional final products.

• Produce various types of videos including product demonstrations, software walkthroughs, corporate, promotional, training, and social media content.

• Incorporate transitions, text overlays, titles, subtitles, graphics, animations, and background music as needed.

• Align voiceovers with screen recordings and video material.

• Enhance video pacing and ensure a seamless visual flow.

• Execute basic color correction, audio enhancement, noise reduction, and video stabilization.

• Develop short-form content, reels, promotional clips, and highlight videos.

• Work with screen recordings, ensuring synchronization of cursor movements and voiceovers.

• Integrate branding elements such as logos, fonts, intro/outro screens, and company graphics.

• Review videos for visual, audio, spelling, timing, and formatting inconsistencies prior to final delivery.

• Compress and export videos in suitable formats while preserving visual quality.

• Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, graphics, audio files, and final exports.

• Implement revisions based on feedback from management and project teams.

• Handle multiple video projects and adhere to established deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to produce videos for product demonstrations, presentations, social media, training, marketing, and company communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent tools.

• Solid understanding of video composition, transitions, storytelling, pacing, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience with text animation, motion graphics, subtitles, and overlays.

• Basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software is preferred.

• Good grasp of audio editing and voiceover synchronization.

• Ability to work with various video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and codecs.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication and time-management abilities.

• Capability to comprehend requirements and translate them into visually coherent videos.

• Previous experience as a Video Editor or in a similar creative position is preferred.

• A portfolio or sample videos showcasing editing skills.

• Experience creating technology, software, CCTV, AI, retail, or product demonstration videos would be advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva is preferred.

• Experience in producing professional voiceover-based presentation videos is a plus.

• Creative and visually perceptive.

• Detail-oriented and focused on quality.

• Comfortable working with technical and business-oriented content.

• Able to quickly understand feedback and make necessary adjustments.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Eager to learn new editing techniques and tools.

• Preferred: 1–3 years of professional video editing experience; fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and excellent editing skills may also be considered.
