Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit high-quality long-form and short-form video content for The Performance Club, highlighting training, coaches, members, classes, results, culture, and the overall brand.

• Edit content for the CEO's personal brand to enhance authority, trust, and audience engagement.

• Collaborate with the Director and team to brainstorm content ideas, concepts, hooks, and formats for repeatable content series.

• Transform raw footage into refined final edits by utilizing pacing, storytelling, music, captions, B-roll, graphics, sound design, and color grading.

• Convert long-form footage into short-form content suitable for Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

• Ensure consistent visual and editorial standards across both the company brand and the CEO's personal brand.

• Oversee video projects from initial brief through to final delivery, maintaining organized project files and adhering to turnaround times.

• Stay updated with trends in video, fitness, creator, and social media; introduce new creative ideas and test methods to enhance content performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience.

• Ideally, experience in fitness, personal branding, content marketing, media, or another high-volume content environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software.

• Strong understanding of both short-form and long-form storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, sound design, color grading, and social-first video formats.

• Excellent creative instincts, with the capability to contribute ideas beyond merely executing an editing brief.

• Highly organized, collaborative, and driven by deadlines.

• Ability to work directly with a Director and manage multiple content projects at the same time.
