This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit comprehensive videos from start to finish for CoinPoker's YouTube channel, as well as content related to ambassadors, partners, and collaborations.

• Review and process raw footage, ensuring proper structure, pacing, sound design, graphics, color grading, and final output.

• Transform poker footage into captivating narratives that highlight storytelling, tension, and significant moments.

• Create impactful openings and sustain audience engagement through to the conclusion.

• Tailor tone, pacing, and style to suit the specific audience of each channel, ambassador, and partner.

• Perform finishing touches, which include sound design, music integration, captions, motion graphics, and on-screen elements.

• Implement feedback related to structure and audience retention gathered from weekly reviews to enhance future edits.

• Oversee an editing workflow across various channels while meeting content calendar deadlines and turnaround expectations.

• Collaborate with the ambassador and partnerships teams regarding footage, briefs, and turnaround times.

• Leverage AI and advanced editing tools to streamline routine editing processes.

• A portfolio showcasing long-form edits that successfully engaged audiences, with the ability to articulate structural choices.

• A solid understanding of poker as a content genre, encompassing hands, players, personalities, stakes, and narratives.

• Strong instincts for storytelling with a focus on structure, pacing, and tension.

• The discipline to remove content that does not contribute meaningfully.

• Expertise in finishing techniques including sound design, music, captions, motion graphics, and color correction.

• Capability to adapt style and tone for various channels or brands.

• Proficiency in managing a personal editing workflow across multiple platforms.

• Consistent ability to meet deadlines outlined in a content calendar.

• Comfort in applying feedback related to structure and audience retention.
