This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Ingest, organize, and edit video footage from initial cut to final product.

• Utilize client briefs and filming notes to produce captivating edits and animations.

• Create engaging animation and motion graphics from conception to delivery.

• Develop storyboards, assets, and final renders.

• Source or design necessary assets for video edits and animations, adhering to brand guidelines and project style.

• Incorporate music and sound effects as needed to enhance the overall impact of the edit.

• Apply internal and client feedback to improve video edits and animations.

• Adhere to project timelines and workflows, guaranteeing timely delivery of high-quality content.

• Maintain organized project files.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects, providing creative input and working together to achieve project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a video editor, supported by a strong portfolio that showcases a variety of editing styles and techniques.

• Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro), motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects), and design software (Illustrator).

• Excellent grasp of storytelling and design principles.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for expressing ideas to colleagues and clients.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.
