This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Oversee comprehensive engineering execution for BridalLive, Total Party Planner, and Aisle Planner.
• Ensure reliable, high-quality delivery in alignment with product roadmaps and business priorities across various sectors.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to enhance speed, quality, and measurable impact on customer satisfaction.
• Align engineering projects with growth targets, including new customer acquisition, revenue expansion, payment integration, and customer loyalty.
• Boost development efficiency through the implementation of AI-assisted engineering methodologies, such as code generation, automated testing, and release optimization.
• Set and maintain standards for code quality, system performance, scalability, and security protocols.
• Apply best practices for automated testing, observability, incident management, and operational preparedness.
• Promote platform modernization and reduction of technical debt across the portfolio.
• Implement AI-enabled tools and workflows to enhance developer productivity and shorten development cycles.
• Own and refine Pod & Sprint operating frameworks to improve collaboration, planning, and delivery rhythms.
• Standardize engineering practices across various business units.
• Directly supervise Engineering Managers and foster their development as effective people and delivery leaders.
• Over 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in leading multiple teams or products within a SaaS environment.
• A demonstrated history of delivering scalable, customer-facing software platforms.
• Strong expertise in building and nurturing Engineering Managers.
• Proven success in enhancing delivery predictability, operational performance, and engineering quality.
• Capability to translate business strategies and growth objectives into technical priorities and execution plans.
