Vice President – Self Storage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy for product underwriting and ensure alignment of necessary talent and capital to achieve outcomes.

• Establish the underwriting strategy specific to the product that aligns with the expectations of capital providers and premium rates.

• Oversee the implementation of the underwriting strategy, including the production and performance metrics for underwriters.

• Manage the performance of the product line portfolio.

• Continuously monitor and enhance the product offerings, including expansion into new geographic areas.

• Create and uphold pricing models.

• Organize tailored capital solutions and coordinate activities within the Managing General Underwriter (MGU).

• Attract, nurture, and retain underwriting talent.

• Identify and sustain essential external partnerships.

• Ensure transparency in results and disseminate best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or Business Administration is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance underwriting.

• A state Property & Casualty and/or surplus lines license is essential.

• Industry certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), ARM, AU-M, etc., are advantageous.
