Vice President, Sales – Retail, E-Commerce, Irrigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute the growth strategy aimed at key customers.

• Recruit, mentor, and expand a high-performing team comprising National Account Managers, E-commerce strategists, Irrigation channel leaders, and sales support staff.

• Drive the achievement of the annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and initiatives for performance enhancement.

• Cultivate and sustain senior-level relationships with merchants, category managers, digital teams, and supply chain partners across all major accounts.

• Spearhead the strategy for significant e-commerce clients, which includes content optimization, SEO, product page development, digital campaigns, media optimization, and operational excellence.

• Supervise sales forecasting, ensure CRM accuracy, enforce sales governance, and enhance analytics capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in outside sales within retail, e-commerce, or consumer/industrial products.

• Preference for candidates with experience in selling to Home Centers or Hardware channels.

• Capability to work entirely remotely from a home office located anywhere in the US.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across North America.

• Strong knowledge of digital commerce, including Amazon, THD.com, Lowes.com ecosystems, digital media, and content requirements.

• Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and negotiation abilities.

• Robust financial acumen, with a comprehensive understanding of pricing, promotional planning, P&L drivers, and margin management.

• A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is advantageous.
