This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for driving sustained client value, achieving profitable growth, and maintaining market leadership through the effective delivery and optimization of Vizient’s spend management solutions.
• Functions as a trusted executive advisor to health system leadership and C-suite executives.
• Leads and nurtures high-performing account management teams while overseeing client P&L performance.
• Ensures the alignment of Vizient’s spend management capabilities across clinical, purchased services, and indirect spend categories.
• Guides coaching and talent development initiatives for teams.
• Acts as a strategic advisor to client executive leadership.
• Promotes client engagement, realization of value, retention, and long-term profitability.
• Identifies opportunities for service expansion.
• Oversees and manages client P&L performance.
• Implements disciplined business plans that foster enterprise growth.
• Represents Vizient with credibility and authority at the executive level.
• Translates intricate spend, utilization, and performance analytics into compelling narratives.
• Collaborates closely with Enterprise Account Management and other business leaders.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain and spend management.
• Proven success in leading large, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams with P&L accountability.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with executive and C-suite leaders within complex health systems.
• A documented track record of results, supported by clear, quantifiable outcomes.
• A deep understanding of healthcare supply chain operations.
• Strong history of developing leaders and creating high-performing teams through clear expectations.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, healthcare economics, and value-based decision-making.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders through credibility, sound judgment, and trusted advisory leadership.
• Expertise in complex, high-value negotiations.
• Proficient in deeply listening to provider needs and synthesizing complex quantitative and qualitative inputs.
