This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Assist in defining and implementing our cloud market strategy.
β’ Collaborate with engineering, go-to-market (GTM), and executive teams to create competitive cloud products while leading cross-functional teams.
β’ Take ownership of the product vision and multi-year strategy for our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader cloud growth objectives.
β’ Build and manage a high-performing team of product leaders, fostering accountability, execution discipline, and a culture focused on customer satisfaction.
β’ Oversee cross-functional execution among product, engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), ensuring alignment and successful delivery of roadmap priorities.
β’ Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to transition products from concept to launch and promote their adoption.
β’ Utilize extensive market, customer, and industry insights to identify differentiation opportunities and refine product positioning.
β’ Own business outcomes across the portfolio, including revenue growth, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction levels.
β’ Work with go-to-market leadership on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy, acting as a representative for Akamai in interactions with customers, partners, and analysts.
β’ 15 years of experience in product management within cloud, compute, or infrastructure sectors; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
β’ Proven success in building and scaling product management teams, which includes hiring, mentoring, and establishing effective operational rhythms.
β’ Experience in defining and executing product strategy at a senior level, including setting vision, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring cross-functional execution.
β’ In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts such as compute, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, and managed services.
β’ Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products, with the capability to articulate outcomes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
β’ Ability to align stakeholders through effective communication, collaboration, and influential leadership.
β’ Lead by influence across engineering, SRE, and operations, uniting stakeholders around a common product vision.
β’ Navigate between developer and enterprise audiences, recognizing their distinct needs and purchasing behaviors.
β’ Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills, representing the company effectively in discussions with customers, partners, and analysts.
