Vice President, Pharmacy Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Coordinating the delivery of pharmaceutical care across all provider facilities, including both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Defining the range of services for pharmacy operations throughout the organization.

• Continuously assessing operations for improvements.

• Upholding the highest quality standards and ensuring an appropriate scope to address local and regional patient care requirements.

• Serving as a vital contributor in delivering high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceutical care across all Carle locations.

• Formulating a strategic plan for pharmacy operations across the system.

• Establishing and maintaining practice standards for all professional personnel.

• Collaborating with nursing leadership to enhance service delivery.

• Developing and managing the pharmacy purchasing strategy to sustain the pharmacy supply chain across all Carle entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Doctorate in Pharmacy.

• Minimum of 5 years in Pharmacy Administration.

• In-depth knowledge of State and Federal Pharmacy Regulations.

• Understanding of the Federal 340B Program.

• Experience in creating and managing pharmacy budgets.
