Vice President – Operations Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Define and articulate the enterprise engineering strategy to align with business goals, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

• Direct multiple directors and senior managers; establish operating rhythms, governance frameworks, and decision-making processes across various portfolios.

• Take ownership of multi-year roadmaps for modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform engineering, data/AI enablement, and legacy rationalization.

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to ensure readiness for delivery and compliance with audit standards.

• Supervise the execution of large-scale programs across business lines, ensuring consistent delivery, high quality, and measurable results.

• Oversee budget management, vendor strategies, sourcing, and capacity planning; strive to optimize expenditures while enhancing throughput.

• Set organizational standards for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevSecOps practices, incident management, and operational excellence.

• Lead talent acquisition strategies, including recruitment, succession planning, leadership development, and fostering a strong organizational culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• The ideal candidate will possess relevant credentials in specific areas of expertise (such as law, accounting, tax, or product/services) and have a minimum of ten years of pertinent experience in the industry.

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and management skills from a strategic viewpoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to work with internal teams to achieve practical solutions, anticipate challenges, creatively evaluate alternatives, and resolve conflicts.
