• Guide, motivate, and cultivate the operational management team by setting priorities and objectives that foster a cohesive culture and exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Assist with strategic planning for operations, execution of strategies, and implementation of standardized processes and procedures to achieve predictable, high-quality financial results.

• Ensure a scalable yet agile departmental structure that aligns with the organization’s growth objectives.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement by gaining a thorough understanding of client workflows, best practices, and existing bottlenecks.

• Develop Operational KPIs to establish benchmarks for operational targets.

• Collaborate with finance and RCM teams to assess collection capabilities and compliance with payer contracts.

• Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer to devise the most effective strategy for prospecting new National Accounts.

• Accountable for driving profitable growth, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance through strong leadership.

• Foster collaboration across the organization to pinpoint needs and create scalable solutions.

• Prioritize goals and execute strategies to meet company initiatives as part of the leadership team.

• Manage staff both directly and indirectly with the aim of enhancing professional development and personal growth.

• Exhibit situational agility and the capacity to anticipate trends, leading teams in new directions to support sustainable growth.

• Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer on strategic methods for generating referrals to ensure long-term sustainable progress and growth.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local legal and professional standards by reviewing existing and forthcoming legislation; anticipating future regulations; enforcing compliance; and advising management on necessary actions.

• Advocate for the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current HME products and services provided by the company.

• Safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

• Complete required compliance training and other educational programs as assigned.

• Maintain compliance with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.

• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

• Responsible for recruiting and hiring qualified staff, ensuring effective onboarding, and delivering comprehensive training and ongoing feedback.

• Achieve staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and evaluating job outcomes; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience in the HME industry, which is approximately eight (8) years.

• Seven (7) years of experience in relevant healthcare.

• Preferred relevant experience includes healthcare administration, finance, insurance customer service, claims, billing, home health, and/or medical terminology training.

• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.
