📋 Description

• Act as the executive leader overseeing the integrated sales, marketing, and partnership functions; crafting the long-term commercial roadmap to enhance top-line growth, expand market share, develop new markets, and align with Melink Solar's financial and mission objectives.

• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to establish vision, strategy, and growth goals.

• Work in partnership with operations, estimating, engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure growth plans align with company capacity and margin expectations; creating clear handoff standards to ensure scope, schedule, pricing, risks, and customer commitments are thoroughly understood prior to project delivery.

• Design and supervise the complete sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, guaranteeing consistent revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

• Perform strategic market analysis to pinpoint the most promising geographic areas for entry and identify vertical markets that Melink Solar should prioritize, subsequently developing data-driven expansion strategies that position the company as the preferred partner for commercial and utility-scale solar solutions.

• Propel data-driven sales management via CRM adoption, pipeline accuracy, sales stage discipline, and a regular forecasting cycle; implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to ensure full transparency for the executive team.

• Manage proposal and RFP strategy for key opportunities, coordinating with estimating, engineering, finance, procurement, and operations to deliver compelling, precise, and commercially viable responses.

• Establish and nurture partnerships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), advocates, financiers, utilities, developers, and community organizations to enhance Melink Solar’s market position.

• Create new revenue streams and collaborative opportunities to bolster Melink Solar’s role in the renewable energy value chain.

• Build influence by representing Melink Solar at executive roundtables, trade associations, and policy discussions.

• Lead with high standards; mentor and coach team members regularly, conduct structured performance reviews with clear expectations and actionable development plans, and engage in direct, candid conversations when necessary to address gaps and uphold accountability.

• Recruit, develop, and scale high-performing sales and marketing teams, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and shared success where every team member is empowered to achieve their full potential.

• Define the annual and long-term marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals and brand positioning, then empower the marketing team to implement it effectively.

• Oversee the sales and marketing budget, including investments in lead generation, digital marketing, events, trade shows, sponsorships, CRM tools, and other resources essential for supporting profitable growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s Degree or MBA preferred).

• 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership with executive responsibility for revenue growth, showcasing a proven ability to build and lead teams that consistently surpass growth targets.

• In-depth understanding of renewable energy markets, EPC services, or infrastructure industries, with strong experience in establishing strategic partnerships with IPPs, developers, financiers, and utilities.

• Solid grasp of C&I solar EPC fundamentals, including utility bill analysis, solar proposal creation, roof mount, ground mount, and parking canopy project types, along with a working knowledge of interconnection and permitting processes.

• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and hybrid solar+storage solutions, including their sales, scoping, and positioning in the C&I market.

• Capability to balance high-level strategic vision with hands-on execution.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills with C-suite, board-level, and industry audiences.

• Proven ability to lead people, with a record of building high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated success in selling to and managing national accounts, including multi-site and enterprise-level customers, with experience in CRM discipline, sales forecasting, proposal/RFP strategy, and sales process accountability in a project-based or technical services environment.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing performance, including website traffic analytics, SEO, and GEO optimization, with the ability to hold a marketing team accountable for measurable search-ranking goals.

• Proven ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, estimating, engineering, finance, operations, and project management to balance customer needs, capacity, risk, and profitability; including experience managing budgets and allocating resources towards the highest-impact growth initiatives.
