Vice President of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance scalable operating models that support hospice performance across all markets.

• Set clear standards, workflows, and expectations across centralized functions to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Identify and eliminate operational friction points that affect speed to care, clinician productivity, and patient experience.

• Build strong, trust-based relationships with market operational leaders to gain insights into needs, challenges, and opportunities.

• Provide direct oversight and strategic guidance for centralized functions such as Intake, Scheduling, Volunteer Services, Bereavement, Journey (patient/family experience), Reception, Customer Service, Telephony, and Palliative Care.

• Advocate for the use of technology and data to modernize hospice operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a strong preference for hospice experience.

• Experience collaborating with or within multi-site operations, demonstrating strong field partnerships.

• Proven success in influencing outcomes across a matrixed organization without direct control over P&L or sales.

• Experience managing or collaborating with centralized/shared services functions.

• Strong comprehension of healthcare technology ecosystems.

• Experience leading or participating in EMR implementations or migrations is strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to utilize data and analytics to drive operational enhancements.

• Familiarity with AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
