• Oversee daily engineering operations in collaboration with internal teams and vendor partners.
• Develop engineering methodologies, CI/CD standards, a culture of code reviews, and release management procedures from the ground up.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for KMS.
• Recruit, onboard, and lead the initial engineering team, including DevOps/AgentOps, Full-Stack, Backend, and Integration engineers.
• Collaborate with the CTO on architectural decisions.
• Work with clinical and pharmacy stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are accurately captured in technical outputs.
• Create and sustain the engineering roadmap.
• A minimum of 12 years in healthcare technology, with at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role (Director or VP level).
• Proven experience in managing outsourced or offshore development collaborations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services such as HealthLake, Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, and CDK/Terraform.
• Background in healthcare, telehealth, or SaaS within regulated industries.
• Understanding of FHIR R4 data models or a strong willingness to learn rapidly.
• Demonstrated success in building engineering teams from the ground up or scaling teams effectively.
