This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement strategic plans for medical affairs initiatives.
• Provide leadership in the development of clinical strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of medical affairs activities.
• Supervise medical affairs functions, including medical communications, publications, and interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards.
• Offer medical guidance and support to clinical development teams.
• Manage budgets, resource distribution, and timelines for medical affairs projects.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in engaging with external partners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Post-graduate degree in biological sciences.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within medical affairs.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be taken into account.
• Preferred qualifications include an MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in genetics, molecular biology, pathology, or a related discipline.
• Extensive expertise in clinical genetics, genomic testing, or molecular diagnostics, particularly in rare genetic diseases.
• Strong comprehension of clinical validation, evidence generation, and scientific communications.
