Vice President – Franchise Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in direct sales efforts within international and non-traditional franchise channels, comprising approximately 30% of the role, where senior-level engagement and expertise play a crucial role in closing deals.

• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Franchise Sales Directors, which constitutes around 70% of the role: formulate and implement strategies, playbooks, and accountability frameworks to enhance team performance and close rates.

• Establish the strategies for Sales, Lead Generation, and Portfolio Management, overseeing their implementation and monitoring.

• Manage a team of professionals in Sales, Lead Generation, and Portfolio Management.

• Assess current lead flow and sources, providing recommendations and executing strategies to enhance lead volume and quality.

• Identify, attract, and successfully close franchise owners who are both professionally and financially qualified across five brands.

• Align strategy and target candidates to ensure an uptick in the quality of leads that are converted into sales.

• Collaborate closely with the Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, Training, and Finance teams across all five brands, addressing the distinct needs and goals of each.

• Partner with the Real Estate team to devise market strategies aimed at boosting the pipeline and meeting sales objectives.

• Oversee and manage projects to ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal franchise disclosure laws and regulations, as well as the execution of franchise agreements and adherence to corporate procedures/legal guidelines.

• Develop internal incentive packages to engage and motivate the team, alongside external campaigns that generate urgency and excitement among prospects.

• Collaborate with Real Estate and Legal teams to formulate proximity/impact policies and processes.

• Work alongside teams and Executive Leadership throughout the organization to create necessary franchise policies as the business evolves.

• Provide leadership and support to direct reports, including functions related to domestic and international sales, portfolio management, and lead generation.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for all five brands and effectively communicate and educate prospects, while also coaching the development team on FDD inquiries and positioning.

• Ensure that systems, processes, and procedures are efficient, offering recommendations for improvements.

• Represent the company and its brands at panel discussions, tradeshows, and other venues as required to foster and maintain a robust and expanding franchisee portfolio.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing Franchise Development strategies.

• Demonstrated success in leading sales teams within the Franchise industry.

• Experience in the fitness, wellness, or beauty sectors is an advantage.

• Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

• Excellent negotiation, influencing, analytical, and financial skills.

• Confident and positive demeanor with the capability to lead in a sales-driven environment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and organizational levels.

• Capability to teach selling systems and techniques.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

• Skilled in building relationships and influencing potential clients.

• Accountability for achieving consistent and measurable outcomes.

• Capacity to work collaboratively and professionally with company executives and other business leaders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including content creation for presentations and dashboards.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
