• Lead the yearly budgeting and forecasting processes by creating advanced strategic models that reflect the distinct complexities of our insurance and administrative services business model.
• Act as a vital strategic ally to department heads, providing financial expertise and actionable recommendations to assist them in reaching their operational and financial goals.
• Design and automate impactful management reporting packages that track KPIs, highlight essential trends, and assess budget versus actual performance for executive reviews and Board meetings.
• Develop and sustain sophisticated financial models to evaluate client and broker profitability, claims and reserve dynamics, staffing needs, and potential M&A or partnership opportunities.
• Enhance financial systems and workflows to improve the speed and accuracy of reporting, with a strong emphasis on utilizing AI-driven tools to foster operational innovation.
• At least 10 years of progressive financial experience, including a minimum of 5 years focused on high-impact FP&A leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge within the insurance, administrative services, SaaS, or financial services industries is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating advanced strategic models and conducting sensitivity analyses.
• Practical experience with advanced financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Vena.
• Knowledge of enterprise-grade ERP systems like NetSuite or Intacct, as well as BI and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Demonstrated capability to utilize AI-driven tools to improve financial reporting, analysis, and operational innovation.
• Exceptional ability to convert complex financial data into clear, engaging narratives for executive-level discussions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and promote cross-functional collaboration.
