This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Contribute to our mission by serving as a knowledgeable strategic advisor and consultant to clients in areas such as strategy formulation, performance management, financial analysis, operations management analysis, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and other finance-related fields.
• Act as the project manager for initiatives focused on financial expertise, while also serving as a subject matter expert for projects with a minor financial aspect.
• Oversee both internal and client project teams, along with the project workplan, to guarantee efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
• Communicate project status in a timely and professional manner, engage in problem-solving with the internal team, and manage project relationships to ensure a successful engagement.
• Create customer-facing deliverables for each client project.
• Take the lead as the primary author of recommendations, integrating analysis and insights from subject matter experts alongside primary and secondary market research.
• Engage in business development efforts, including but not limited to proposal creation and writing, emphasizing the generation of new projects and additional work with existing clients.
• Write articles and other materials for OPEN MINDS publications.
• Prepare and present at educational and training events for OPEN MINDS and clients, both virtually and in person.
• Monitor personal billable hours across multiple projects and oversee the billable hours for the entire project.
• Over 10 years of experience and knowledge in healthcare, particularly with provider organizations; experience in the health and human services sector is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend business challenges, evaluate the client’s current circumstances, devise strategies and solutions, draft reports, create client presentations, and articulate recommendations to clients.
• Proficient in budget creation, service unit costing, and conducting pricing analyses for service lines.
• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Capability to read and interpret financial statements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey project statuses and deliver presentations both in-person and virtually.
• High attention to detail regarding accuracy, grammar, formatting, and other elements critical for successful client deliverables and presentations.
• Visual acuity for tasks such as data preparation and analysis, viewing computer screens, and extensive reading.
• Willingness to travel overnight and independently throughout the continental United States.
