This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and the consolidated enterprise forecast.
• Incorporate program performance, funded backlog, pipeline, staffing, indirect rates, margins, cash flow, and working-capital assumptions.
• Collaborate with Division General Managers as a senior finance advisor on matters related to growth, staffing, investments, and corrective actions.
• Partner with the COO to enhance financial accountability and convert performance gaps into actionable steps.
• Evaluate contract and program profitability, taking into account labor mix, subcontractor expenses, indirect-rate effects, pricing assumptions, and cash timing.
• Deliver financial reports and recommendations to the CEO, CFO, COO, and the executive leadership team.
• Develop financial models, KPIs, and reporting processes to enhance forecast accuracy, program-level visibility, and decision-making capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Chief People Officer on performance metrics, financial modeling, and affordability assessments for merit, bonus, and incentive decisions.
• Manage assigned Deputy CFO responsibilities, including cash management, financial planning, controls, risk management, and continuity of financial leadership.
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in FP&A, business-unit finance, divisional finance, or enterprise financial management.
• Proven experience in managing integrated forecasts and P&Ls across various divisions, business units, or complex programs.
• Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, cash flow management, working capital, and executive reporting.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills to advise senior leaders, constructively challenge assumptions, and suggest practical actions.
• Proficient in advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP, project-accounting, planning, or business-intelligence systems.
• Experience in federal government contractor finance leadership is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of indirect-rate management, project accounting, contract types and pricing, as well as FAR/CAS and DCAA requirements is strongly preferred.
• Practical experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
