This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as a vital member of the senior leadership team, providing financial guidance and insights to support business strategy and execution.
• Collaborate with the President and executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational enhancement efforts.
• Convert strategy into actionable financial plans, metrics, and responsibilities.
• Create and institutionalize KPIs and business metrics that offer forward-looking insights.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews, pinpointing opportunities, risks, and corrective actions.
• Oversee business-unit budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Provide executive supervision of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls through direct leadership of the Controller.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and promptness of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Foster strong governance, compliance, and ethical standards throughout the Finance organization.
• Collaborate closely with the DTFOC Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller to ensure that accounting processes are developed and managed in alignment with DTFOC expectations.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a multi-disciplinary finance organization, including FP&A and Accounting.
• Cultivate a culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
• Over 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in a private equity-backed setting is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of effectively partnering with executive leadership to drive strategy and achieve results.
• Strong strategic and analytical leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a results-driven mindset.
