This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the technical visionary for Pindrop’s multi-cloud platform across AWS and GCP, as well as its cross-product machine learning capabilities.
• Influence the engineering culture, craft, processes, and talent acquisition and development across all product teams.
• Oversee Pindrop’s core platform that underpins both Pindrop Passport and Protect, managing its roadmap, engineering delivery, process execution, quality, and timelines.
• Work closely with the Chief Architect to shape the technical vision, translating principles into practices and techniques for creating adaptable architectures.
• Cultivate engineering talent throughout the organization, enhancing the framework for career growth, onboarding, and retention.
• Establish processes aimed at minimizing downtime, enhancing scalability and reliability, and implementing a cohesive problem management strategy with observability.
• Implement controls and processes for ongoing monitoring and reduction of cloud and data costs.
• At least 12+ years of relevant experience in building and supporting application platforms and/or infrastructure, with significant experience in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing a large technology team of 30 or more individuals, including director-level direct reports.
• Proven track record in building, scaling, and structuring technology organizations within growth-phase companies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data technologies on AWS and/or GCP, along with experience in multi-cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with data science infrastructure, machine learning, and the implementation of Generative AI.
• Experience in network and application security, or in developing and implementing an enterprise security program/team.
• Ability to design team structures, interactions, and value streams for optimal efficiency utilizing lean principles.
• Solid understanding of the importance of CI/CD, along with best practices and methods for large-scale application.
