This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Drive the commercial expansion of AIES services throughout Europe, focusing on sectors such as Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power Generation including renewables, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Mining, Utilities, and others.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities for AIES, including multi-site and multi-country accounts.
• Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with AIES capabilities and strategic objectives.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical-commercial discussions with engineering managers, plant managers, integrity teams, and procurement professionals.
• Serve as the primary AIES Sales expert for all Intertek Sales teams in Europe.
• Mentor and guide local Sales teams to grasp AIES services, value propositions, and client challenges.
• Assist Sales teams in opportunity qualification, proposal creation, pricing strategies, and closing deals.
• Convert technical AIES concepts into clear commercial messages that non-technical sales personnel can confidently utilize.
• Foster strong relationships with key clients, positioning Intertek as a reliable partner for integrity engineering.
• Comprehend client challenges related to asset integrity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational risks.
• Collaborate closely with the Integrity Manager and Technical SMEs to tailor client-specific solutions, define project scopes, outline deliverables, and prepare technical-commercial proposals; ensuring proposals are precise, competitive, and consistent with AIES capabilities.
• Represent AIES at industry events, conferences, and client workshops.
• Provide market insights on client requirements, competitor offerings, and emerging trends in integrity engineering.
• Aid in the integration of Intertek’s Aware IDMS into client proposals and service packages.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Civil/Structural) or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in B2B technical sales, business development, or commercial roles within industrial sectors.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in AIES sales.
• Proven success in selling engineering services, inspection services, asset integrity, reliability, or similar technical solutions.
• Prior hands-on experience in the Asset Integrity field is a significant advantage.
