PL/SQL Developer, PL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance stored procedures utilized in analytical processes and data integrations for BI environments.

• Construct high-performance SQL queries to facilitate reports, metrics, and management dashboards.

• Implement and oversee ETL processes and data loading routines.

• Collaborate with BI teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess scenarios, and define technical solutions.

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to query and database process performance.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data supplied in analytical environments.

• Assist in the maintenance, evolution, incident resolution, and continuous enhancement of database processes.

• Contribute to optimizing data structures and enhancing the organization’s analytical routines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Advanced expertise in T-SQL for the development, maintenance, and optimization of complex queries.

• Proficient in manipulating data with SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.

• Development and maintenance of stored procedures, functions (both scalar and table-valued), and database objects for analytical processes and integrations.

• Familiarity with data modeling for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

• Experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load), ensuring data quality, integrity, and reliability.

• Proficient in importing, exporting, and processing CSV, XLS, TXT files, and other formats used in data integrations.

• Knowledge of performance analysis and database tuning, including execution plans, index creation, partitioning, and query optimization.

• Understanding of Business Intelligence architecture, metrics, reports, and analytical dashboards.

• Experience with technical documentation, code standardization, and adherence to development best practices.

• Ability to collaborate with business areas and BI teams to gather requirements and provide strategic data.

• Analytical, consultative, and proactive nature, with the capability to identify improvements and propose solutions aligned with business needs.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ease of interaction with users and multidisciplinary teams.
