SAP ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the PaPM team to support and enhance project initiatives.

• Offer a high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications.

• Comprehend business objectives and identify how IT can best support them.

• Oversee the conceptual design of business applications.

• Review and validate the technical design for business applications submitted by the supplier.

• Conduct quality review checks on project deliverables.

• Validate suppliers’ cost estimates.

• Perform impact analysis of application changes across multiple components.

• Provide Rough Order of Magnitude estimates for implementing new application features.

• Assist with implementation activities as necessary.

• Hold responsibility for the overall conceptual design of business applications.

• Carry out impact analysis of application modifications across various components, maintaining a holistic view of the system.

• Recommend criteria for Integration and Parallel testing.

• Review and confirm the detailed technical design for business applications from the supplier to ensure it meets business requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between Business and IT as assigned, aiding users in developing Business Cases that include cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and high-level planning.

• Support implementation activities by troubleshooting system environmental issues and providing training as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with SAP ABAP.

• Experience utilizing PaPM within SAP.

• Strong background in SQL.

• Experience with S/4 HANA.
