This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take charge of executing the website development and optimization strategy that aligns with business and growth objectives.
• Create, maintain, and enhance website pages and templates utilizing Webflow and Wix.
• Develop scalable components while implementing custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent, high-performing user experience.
• Serve as the technical authority for all website initiatives, upholding best-in-class web standards.
• Convert marketing, product, and brand initiatives into seamless on-site user journeys.
• Execute and oversee conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives, including A/B and multivariate testing.
• Monitor site performance and user behavior employing tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and various analytics platforms.
• Implement SEO best practices across site structure, metadata, and technical execution.
• Ensure mobile-first design, accessibility standards, and page speed optimization on all platforms.
• Identify opportunities to enhance conversion funnels, lead generation, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Conduct usability testing and integrate data-driven enhancements to continually optimize the user experience.
• Collaborate with content, SEO, CRM, and paid media teams to ensure effective performance of landing pages and campaigns.
• Excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where testing, iteration, and innovation yield results.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in website marketing, product management, or digital strategy.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) with practical knowledge of Webflow and Wix (essential).
• Proficient in HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript (capable of customizing components).
• Strong grasp of web performance optimization, custom code within Webflow, and structured data (schema) to enhance SEO.
• Experience with API integrations and compliance-oriented tracking.
• Background working in regulated environments, balancing compliance with creativity.
• Proven track record of enhancing site performance and conversion rates.
• Familiarity with CMS workflows, UX/UI principles, and web analytics.
• Capability to plan, deliver, and manage web projects from start to finish.
