This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees and manages a region comprising multiple communities (typically over 10) by implementing policies, procedures, and practices that enable each community to achieve and surpass financial targets and operational performance objectives.

• Directs community operations to set revenue, expense, NOI, and capital expenditure goals, ensuring alignment with the overarching business plans established at underwriting.

• Vigilantly monitors all aspects of financial performance; analyzes financial statements and implements necessary operational adjustments; recruits, directs, and oversees internal teams to fulfill the business plan.

• Develops Property Teams by ensuring the recruitment and selection of only the highest quality personnel to represent the communities.

• Provides coaching, direction, and mentorship to RGMs and Property leadership.

• Ensures all teams receive adequate training and appropriately delegates responsibilities to foster team development.

• Conducts periodic reviews of operational metrics and financial statements to ensure each community meets performance objectives, providing corrective recommendations to address identified gaps.

• Formulates an executive management plan for the market and drives the revenue and expenditure targets for the community.

• Contributes to the establishment and enhancement of work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices to achieve collective results.

• Manages client relationships to facilitate smooth conflict resolution, account maintenance, and overall enhancement of client relations.

• Analyzes property financial performance in relation to other assets within the portfolio.

• Reviews the annual budget as submitted by the RGM, providing feedback and commentary before it is submitted to ownership.

• Ensures compliance with all regulatory and statutory programs.

• Responsible for reviewing revenue, expenses, staffing levels, guest feedback, and implementing critical action plans as necessary.

• Conducts monthly and quarterly site inspections to ensure standards are met and to address any existing asset condition issues.

• Resolves escalated customer complaints and employee issues respectfully, prioritizing the interests of the company, associates, customers, and community.

• Reviews, approves, and monitors the completion of all capital projects undertaken at the communities.

• Collaborates with marketing managers in developing and executing marketing programs for each community to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Conducts talent management reviews, annual performance assessments, and goal-setting in partnership with the Regional Manager Team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business or hotel administration.

• Over 15 years of relevant work experience in operations, ideally within the hospitality and multifamily industry.

• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.

• Strong resolution skills with the ability to work effectively across functions, capable of identifying solutions and thinking creatively.

• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, planning, sales development, and other essential business management skills.

• Experience with Yardi is a plus.

• Proven track record in leading people, programs, and processes, along with a strong operational background.

• Experience collaborating with highly talented individuals who are passionate about their work.

• Ability to maintain a motivating, positive work environment that holds team members accountable for results.

• Proven capability to hold teams accountable for achieving outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

• Strong PC skills, with proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
