Vice President, Business Intelligence and Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year business intelligence strategy that aligns with product and organizational objectives.

• Spearhead initiatives related to denial management, collections performance, coding accuracy, payer contract optimization, and the integration of historical reporting with machine learning-driven predictive and prescriptive analytics.

• Guide and mentor a high-performing team of data visualization engineers.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Client Success teams to incorporate business intelligence into product offerings and operational processes.

• Oversee the enterprise BI environment, utilizing Astrato as the main visualization and reporting platform.

• Direct workspace governance, semantic layer design, and enterprise-wide business intelligence adoption.

• Convert complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership and key stakeholders.

• Act as the primary link between data assets and business decision-making.

• Enhance product performance, improve customer experience and loyalty, and drive revenue growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence roles.

• At least 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle management or payer operations.

• A minimum of 3 years in a VP or director-level leadership position.

• Expertise in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Practical experience with business intelligence tools, with a strong preference for Astrato.

• In-depth understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data compliance regulations.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Background in data modeling.

• Extensive knowledge of data analytics, data engineering, and data visualization tools.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Astrato, Tableau, and Power BI.
