Vice President – Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive management of a client’s portfolio.

• Serve as the main contact for all aspects of portfolio management, servicing oversight, servicing transfer, and asset strategies implemented by the organization.

• Manage multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives concurrently on behalf of a client across diverse asset classes.

• Facilitate servicing transfers, conduct operational reviews, and ensure remittance reconciliations.

• Make workout decisions and identify any irregularities or exceptions in servicing performance.

• Enhance the performance of a client’s servicer.

• Collaborate with the company’s diligence and collateral services teams to establish asset-level strategies.

• Accountable for achieving client objectives that have been set.

• Formulate portfolio campaign strategies, tailored reporting, and manage project functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree or training in finance or mortgage banking is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 8+ years of industry-related experience, typically including 2+ years in an AVP-level position or a relevant external role.

• Experience in mortgage or the secondary market is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Required experience in commercial real estate asset management.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with staff and clients when necessary.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent PC skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft products.

• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to think strategically and multidimensionally.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
