This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Applied AI & Data practice's P&L, which encompasses bookings, revenue, margin, utilization, and bench cost objectives.
• Regularly report on critical practice health metrics, such as utilization rates, at-risk bench resources, bookings-to-revenue conversion, and pipeline coverage, to PS leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to cultivate a robust pipeline and reliable forecasts, providing active input into account planning.
• Maintain clear visibility into the bench, proactively implement strategies to minimize bench costs, and develop a scalable workforce model aligned with business growth.
• Utilize a personal network to generate leads and establish executive relationships, working in tandem with Sales to qualify, pursue, and finalize opportunities.
• Engage actively with customers through participation in discovery, pursuit, and the development of executive relationships across targeted accounts.
• Jointly drive land-and-expand initiatives with Sales, taking responsibility for revenue growth within named accounts and new logos.
• Cultivate and sustain executive relationships with economic decision-makers, positioning CBTS as a strategic partner rather than a mere transactional vendor.
• Collaborate with the Product team to define and refine the practice’s offering portfolio encompassing data engineering, modernization, analytics, and applied AI, ensuring clear scoping, pricing, and delivery models.
• Establish reusable delivery frameworks around medallion architecture, DataOps, LLMOps, and MCP-based agent infrastructure.
• 12+ years of experience in technology consulting or professional services, with considerable expertise in data and AI, alongside a proven record in senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ownership of P&L and growth within a services practice, ideally from inception through scaling phases.
• Profound understanding of modern cloud data and AI platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake, as well as architectural patterns for production AI.
• Proven success in selling and delivering complex projects to enterprise and midmarket clients, including direct engagement with C-suite executives.
• An active professional network that can be leveraged to develop pipeline opportunities and facilitate access to target accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen in areas such as pricing, packaging, staffing, and margin management.
• Ability to thrive in an early-stage, resource-limited environment where business development is as crucial as operational management.
• Due to U.S. Government requirements affecting foreign-owned telecommunications providers, non-U.S. citizens may need to undergo an extensive government agency background check, which will require the disclosure of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information.
