This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Identify flow constraints that will inform the development of improvement and mitigation plans aimed at enhancing on-time delivery from suppliers.
• Actively participate in cross-functional supplier performance evaluations, co-leading Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews alongside our customers and Supplier Development Leaders.
• Lead or co-lead production meetings with suppliers.
• Maintain a comprehensive vision of overarching goals, recognizing that increasing operational effectiveness is crucial to organizational performance.
• Strive for results by persistently seeking innovative approaches to achieve goals and objectives, fueled by exceptional determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to meet customer needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of the products and the operational workflows at the suppliers you will be collaborating with.
• Generate opportunities to overcome functional, operational, and logistical barriers to ensure timely product delivery.
• Identify and work to eliminate barriers to business objectives related to the on-time delivery of components.
• Effectively drive projects and tasks to completion, including but not limited to: Leading Indicator data collection and gap analysis, material coverage tracking, quality notification communication and resolution, and sub-tier management support.
• Communicate effectively across various leadership levels within the company and the supply base.
• Build and nurture relationships with diverse partners, customers, and suppliers.
• Manage multiple projects while interacting with various departments and management levels simultaneously.
• Lead, manage, and/or assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize rigorous change management practices to drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the organization and across the supply chain.
• Apply project management methodologies and process improvement principles to lead projects according to established plans, including the identification and mitigation of project risks.
• Collect feedback and collaborate with Supplier Development Leaders to identify new improvement opportunities.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time within the Northeast Region - CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, or NY.
• Spend 80% of your time on-site at suppliers and 20% working from your home office.
• A college degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in delivery assurance, supply chain, or a related field; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Reside in the Northeast Region - CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, or NY.
• U.S. citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire change.
• Quick learner who comprehends the essence of situations and can pivot strategies effectively.
• Build strong relationships with peers and partners outside the team to drive higher performance.
• Willingness to consider others' ideas, analyze them, and transform innovations into reality.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
• Flexible, enthusiastic self-starter.
• Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI.
