Vice President, AI Solutions – Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of AI solutions for external client opportunities, covering discovery, technical scoping, architecture, and delivery planning.

• Convert complex business challenges into actionable AI solutions that can be developed, implemented, and supported.

• Collaborate with consultants, subject matter experts, and client stakeholders to define high-value AI use cases.

• Assist in proposals, pursuits, demonstrations, and discussions with executives at client organizations.

• Establish architectural standards for AI solutions utilized in both client-facing and internal projects.

• Oversee solution design for LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, data pipelines, integrations, analytics, and model/tool selection.

• Create reusable design patterns, components, templates, and accelerators.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and tailored to client requirements.

• Maintain quality standards for AI delivery across client engagements and internal projects.

• Evaluate technical designs, delivery plans, implementation risks, and readiness for production.

• Assist teams in transitioning from prototypes to production-ready AI solutions.

• Collaborate with internal operations and governance leaders to ensure that delivery adheres to policies, data handling regulations, and stakeholder expectations.

• Mentor AI Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other technical professionals.

• Help define the talent model for AI builders, including role expectations, growth trajectories, and delivery standards.

• Provide technical coaching to teams engaged in internal management priorities and external client projects.

• Foster a culture of practical delivery, strong documentation, reusable patterns, and accountability in delivery.

• Support the internal development of AI products requiring expertise in architecture, data, or delivery.

• Contribute to the AI tool suite, accelerators, methods, and implementation playbooks of MGT.

• Identify scalable solutions that can be packaged for use across different clients or internal scenarios.

• Collaborate with the VP of AI Strategy & Operations on portfolio visibility, resource allocation, and delivery readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in technology consulting, AI, data, analytics, software delivery, enterprise architecture, or professional services.

• Practical or extensive technical experience in designing AI, data, analytics, or software solutions.

• Proven experience in leading technical delivery teams, conducting architecture reviews, solution design, or implementation efforts.

• Familiarity with modern AI technologies, including large language models, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations.

• Preferred experience with state and local government.

• Background in consulting or client-facing technical delivery is preferred.

• Experience with cloud-based AI services, data platforms, ETL/ELT, analytics platforms, or enterprise integration tools is preferred.

• Previous experience in establishing an AI practice, AI Center of Excellence, product studio, or technical delivery function is preferred.

• Prior experience mentoring architects, data engineers, data scientists, AI builders, or software delivery teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations is preferred.
