Veterinary Student Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative for Hometown Veterinary Partners at university events, career fairs, and meetings with student organizations.

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, including informational sessions, workshops, and webinars.

• Provide valuable feedback and insights regarding student interests, concerns, and trends to influence company initiatives.

• Engage with students via social media and other digital platforms to promote awareness of Hometown Veterinary Partners.

• Learn, communicate with HVP, and comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to corporate presence and events at their college of veterinary medicine.

• Identify and maintain regular communication with relevant deans, faculty, the office of academic and student affairs, career counselors, and student representatives to explore opportunities for HVP support and connections.

• Attend representative meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company news and initiatives.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials across campus.

• Act as a point of contact for students seeking more information about Hometown Veterinary Partners and available opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Program (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or similar).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Passion for representing Hometown Veterinary Partners and promoting its values.

• Previous experience in a leadership or ambassador/representative capacity is advantageous.

• Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms for promotional activities.

• Must be able to commit to the role for one academic year, with the possibility of extension based on mutual assessment at the end of the school year.
