Veterinary Group Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise various hospital locations within the Central Division.

• Identify, manage, and cultivate medical leaders to maximize clinician productivity.

• Establish a clinician-focused culture in designated markets.

• Act as a prominent representative of BluePearl in all engagements.

• Build collaborative relationships between the support team and hospitals.

• Ensure compliance with standards for medical quality and clinician productivity.

• Review reports on operating expenses and notify hospital leaders of any cost overruns.

• Take ownership of the onsite visit process for DVM candidates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) are mandatory.

• Completion of a 1-year rotating internship is required.

• Experience as an Emergency Clinician or board-certified Specialty Clinician.

• A minimum of 7 years of leadership experience is required, preferably managing multiple sites or revenues exceeding $25MM.
