This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The GMED is tasked with supervising and advancing Value & Implementation (V&I) General & Specialty Medicine Therapeutic Area (TA) medical excellence initiatives.
• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at improving Medical Affairs operations and fostering collaboration across various functions, ensuring the highest scientific standards while enhancing the effectiveness of Medical Affairs planning.
• Offer strategic and operational leadership to fulfill our Medical Affairs global strategies, contributing as a member of the Global General & Specialty Medicine TA Leadership Team and various cross-functional strategy groups.
• Design and coordinate innovative Value & Implementation Global Medical & Scientific Affairs (V&I GMSA) strategies for engaging with thought leaders (SLs), academic institutions, centers of excellence (CoEs), and medical professional organizations.
• Facilitate portfolio-aligned scientific insight gathering from SL interactions.
• Collaborate with EDMA and GDMAs to represent our organization in medical professional, scientific, policy, and advocacy organizations pertinent to General & Specialty Medicine.
• An advanced healthcare/science degree (e.g., PA, NP, PharmD, PhD).
• At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, strategic, tactical planning, project leadership, and communication abilities.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, etc.).
• Capability to manage a demanding and evolving workload while responding efficiently to deadlines and changing market conditions.
• Ability to navigate a diverse portfolio throughout the product life cycle.
• Proficient in effectively conveying information to internal and external stakeholders at every level (e.g., senior leadership, management, and individual contributors).
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional matrix teams and work alongside multiple stakeholder groups (e.g., therapeutic areas).
• Established history of contributing to commercial and medical development strategies within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
