Verification Services Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional service quality, ensuring prompt turnaround times and thorough report completion.

• Utilize telephone, email, fax, and mail to liaise with employers, educational institutions, state boards, and online databases to confirm current and past employment, educational background, professional licenses, certifications, and references.

• Adhere to FCRA regulations, employment and reference verification guidelines, consumer information disclosure standards, as well as organizational policies and protocols.

• Execute employment, education, credential, and professional reference verifications through both outbound and inbound communications with verification sources via phone, fax, email, and other available technologies.

• Record research activities, verification outcomes, and actions taken in a clear and comprehensive manner.

• Engage with clients and verification sources to guarantee accurate, timely, and high-quality report completion.

• Review finalized reports for accuracy, completeness, and grammatical correctness prior to closure.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma along with 1-4 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience equivalent.

• Preferably, experience in a customer service-oriented environment such as a professional services firm, employment screening, or staffing agency.

• Preference for candidates with customer service and data entry experience.
